The Toronto International Film Festival is the leading public film festival in the world, bringing the power of film to life each September, since 1976. As a graphic designer with the in-house creative team under creative director David Gee (a swell guy, talented drummer, and excellent book designer) I was responsible for the design of a wide range of print materials including brochures, programmes, publications, posters, event signage and print ads. Notable projects I undertook included conceptualizing, art directing and producing all of the campaign materials for Bent Lens: Pride on Screen an exhibition and film retrospective in celebration of 2014 World Pride, redesigning TIFF’s 2014 Action annual report, and art directing, photographing and designing the promotional campaign for TIFF’s Food on Film and Books on Film series.
